Series III: Interpretation
Scope and Contents
Records that pertain to the research, planning and development, objects, and promotion of the exhbition. Materials include correspondence, promotional material, object records and images. See each series for a more detailed description of the contents.
Series I: Objects -
Materials related to photography, installation, and research of loan objects. Includes correspondence, preliminary object descriptions and references.
Series II : Exhibition Planning -
Materials related to the planning of the exhibition including funding materials, preliminary designs, exhibition proposals, public programs materials, and meeting notes.
Series III: Interpretation -
Interpretative material created for the exhibition, including gallery guides, exhibition programs, wall text and labels.
Series IV: Press and Publicity -
Press, publicity, and promotional materials. Includes reviews, exhibition photography, invitations, and press releases. Also includes material related to a documentary focused on Marimekko produced after the exhibition.
Series V: Research -
Research files on the subjects explored in the exhibition.
