This series contains materials related to pre-exhibition planning and coordination, including touring agreements, correspondence, and contracts.
Series II: Installation and Interpretation -
This series contains materials related to the exhibition design and interpretative material, including wall labels and text, floorplans and design layouts.
Series III: Objects -
This series contains documentation of exhibition objects and checklists.
Series IV: Loans -
This series contains materials related to loan objects and lenders.
Series V: Publicity, Programing, and Promotion -
This series contains materials related to the press and publicity for the exhibition, including press releases, posters, clippings, promotional materials, exhibition program listings, and invitations.
Series VI: Exhibition Tour -
Materials related to the exhibition’s tour outside of it’s display at Bard Graduate Center. Includes materials from installation at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London) and the Queensland Art Gallery (Brisbane, Australia).

Biographical / Historical
Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones was a collaboration between the Victoria and Albert Museum (London) and Stephen Jones, one of the world's foremost milliners. The exhibition was first displayed in the United States at Bard Graduate Center from September 15, 2011 to April 15, 2012 as part of an extensive tour. One of Bard Graduate Center's most visited exhiitions to date, it featured more than 250 pieces of headware by British hat designer and others.
