Series I: Exhibition Planning and Research - This series contains materials related to pre-exhibition planning and research. This includes the exhibition guest lists, correspondence between BGC staff, and research into outside collections and possible lenders.

Series II : Catalog - This series contains materials related to the exhibition catalog. This includes initial drafts, author contracts, design correspondence, and revisions.

Series III: Press, Publicity, and Programs - This series contains materials related to the press and publicity for the exhibition. This includes: press releases, promotional materials, exhibition related programs and lectures, and exhibition invitations.

Series IV: Loans and Lenders - This series contains materials and documentation on the exhibition’s loaned objects, lender information, correspondence related to loans.

Biographical / Historical

Objects of Everyday Life: Cast Iron from Central Europe, 1800-1850 was displayed at the Bard Graduate Center from May 25, 1994 to August 7, 1994. Curated in collaboration with MAK–Austrian Museum for Applied Arts in Vienna, this exhibition documented everyday objects cast in iron from the early to mid 19th-century.
