India: A Jewelry Spectrum (October 8, 1998–January 31, 1999), curated by scholar Oppi Untracht, was the first comprehensive exhibition in New York devoted exclusively to the jewelry of India. The objects selected reflected a diverse range of traditional Indian jewelry.

Records of the 1998 Bard Graduate Center exhibition India: A Jewelry Spectrum curated by Oppi Untracht. The files document the development, coordination, research prior to the exhibition, loan objects, and interpretive content of the exhibition.

Arrangement

The collection has been arranged into three series. Within each series, original order of files has been maintained, except instances where they were consolidated and interfiled from multiple locations.
